Music Video Ideas

This is a music video made by Pharcyde it is a very interesting idea of having a music video played backward the visual effect are fascinating but the idea is very simple idea but very effective. I have a few ideas of how to incorporate the main backwards idea into the video I will be creating, I was thinking of using the backwards affect in a few scenes to portray the Frank Oceans confusion that he shows in his lyrics for the song and transfer that into the music video. During the process of collecting ideas for my video I came across Lady Gaga's Alejandro the reason this intrigued me was because of the religious references in the music video. There is a similar religious theme in Frank Oceans lyrics and I will try to incorporate not the same but similar ideas to the music videos I am creating, to express the artists frustration with religion. Stromae Alors On Danse is also an interesting video the split screen aspect of the video is the aspect that we want to build on because we may need two people in the same shot doing individual things and this would be a good affect to incorporate to show that.
